Spokane Police Respond To Shots Fired Early Saturday Morning

SPOKANE, Wash.- An investigation is underway into shots fired in two separate places early Saturday morning.  Police say the first shooting happened on the 1600 block of East Mission.  Two armed men forced their way into an apartment and the victim tried to disarm them.  At least two bullets were fired during the altercation.  The suspects have not been taken into custody.

Shots were also fired in the area of Sprague and Washington around 2:45 Saturday morning.  Police say multiple gunshots were fired following an altercation and several warning shots were fired into the air.  The person who fired those shots has not been taken into custody.  The suspect is described as a black man in his 20's.  He is muscular with dreadlocks and he was wearing a hoodie.
