Little Boy Falls Off Cliff In Liberty Park

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane firefighters were called to Liberty Park on Monday after a little boy fell down a cliff.

Firefighters say the 6-year-ol boy fell about 40 feet onto some rocks and was bleeding from his head. Once crews got to the boy, he was treated for his injuries and we are told he is in stable condition.

A landslide swept through, completely closing roads, and trapping people in their homes. “With all that vegetation gone, the water just runs off and creates a large pile at the bottom of the hill,” said U.S. Geological Survey Geologist Tom Frost.
