REMINDER: Property Taxes Are Due April 30th in Spokane County

SPOKANE, Wash. - Just a friendly reminder from Spokane County Treasurer Rob Chase that the first half of property taxes are due by April 30th. 

Chase says it is important for residents to know that payments dropped in a US Postal Service box or station must be postmarked before the tax deadline. 

Payments options include ACH, debit and credit cards via internet, in office, or by phone if you call 477-4713 and press option #2. 

More information can be found at www.spokanecounty.org/treasurer. 

Normal business hours are 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 8:30am - 1:00pm on Friday.

    ATHOL, Idaho - The storm that ripped through the Inland Northwest on Wednesday not only interrupted the fun at Silverwood Theme Park for a while, it also did some major damage to Silverwood's RV park across Highway 95. 
    ATHOL, Idaho - The storm that ripped through the Inland Northwest on Wednesday not only interrupted the fun at Silverwood Theme Park for a while, it also did some major damage to Silverwood's RV park across Highway 95. Several RVs and cars were damaged due to falling branches and trees. Only one injury was reported, and it was a very minor knee injury.Multiple crews were called into to remove the downed trees.
