The Eastern Washington football team kicked off its spring practice campaign at Roos Field in Cheney, Wash. on Friday, April 4. The Eagles are coming off of a season where they lost to Towson in the FCS Semifinals and are itching and ready to get the 2014 season underway.

SWX's John Collett visited EWU as it began its first practice of the spring. Hear from players and head coach Beau Baldwin as they got back onto the gridiron--also an exclusive one-on-one interview with sixth-year linebacker Ronnie Hamlin--and click through some of the pictures of the early action.

Make sure to tune into SWX on Saturday, April 26, as we will bring you the Eagles Red & White scrimmage live at 2:00 p.m.
