Florence Clinic Under Investigation Now Open

Posted: Updated:
FLORENCE -

A Florence clinic under investigation by a multi-agency team is now open for business, after a search has ended.

Big Creek Family Medicine and Urgent Care was raided on Tuesday, after a two-year investigation into Dr. Chris Arthur Christensen's prescription writing practices.

Employees at the clinic said Dr. Christensen's medical license has not been revoked, and he is still prescribing medications to his patients.

The investigation is ongoing. The Ravalli County Sheriff said it will take days to investigate any evidence that was obtained after a search warrant was issued. Right now, he does not know the next steps of the investigation.
