Manhattan Business Continues Cleaning Up Flood Damage

Posted: Updated:
MANHATTAN -

A Manhattan business continues to clean up its damages from last month's flooding.

The L & F Market on Main Street had to rip out all of the floors and lost thousands of dollars in products.

The store opened more than two weeks ago, but they are still cleaning up. The carpet, lightning and intercom system should all be fixed within the next two weeks

The store manager says owners have paid for all the damages out of pocket and do not plan on filing any lawsuits.

"It's very inspiring," said Susie Green, L& G Market store manager. "The business was able to open as quickly as it did because the community stepped up and helped out."

The Auto Inn Garage is the only business so far that has sued the city.
