SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane Police are looking for the person who shot someone Tuesday afternoon and then took off.

The shooting victim was dropped off at Holy Family hospital in Spokane and is being treated for a gunshot wound to the stomach, said Spokane Police spokeswoman Monique Cotton.

Cotton went on to say that the wound appears to be non-life-threatening, but also said the victim is listed in critical condition. She says he has not been cooperating with police, but did tell officers that he was shot while showing someone his car stereo.

The person was dropped off by someone who did not stay at the hospital. Cotton said the driver has been located and is not considered a suspect at this time.

Police believe the man was shot at a home on Grace Avenue near Thor, Cotton said. The investigation is ongoing.
