Kidz Bop Kicks Off "Dream Big, Sing Loud" Tour Friday in Richland

RICHLAND, WA - Billboard's #1 Kids' Album Artist, Kidz Bop, kicks off their "Dream Big, Sing Loud" tour Friday night in Richland.

The five-kid group, ranging from ages 10-12, covers pop music's biggest hits including, "Royals" by Lorde, "Applause" by Lady Gaga and Avicii's, "Wake Me Up." The group recently released their album, KIDZ Bop 25, in January and are preparing to release Kidz Bop 26 this summer.

They have three stops in Washington, before continuing a six month tour across the United States. 

"It has lots of energy," says Jayna Brown, a member of the Kidz Bop. "There's lots of singing and dancing to the favorite songs that are playing on the radio, and there's a lot of interactive fun things too. It's fun for kids and parents."

Kidz Bop performs live Thursday evening, at the Richland High School Auditorium at 6:00 p.m.; doors open at 5:00 p.m. The group also has a show Saturday, March 29th at the Yakima Convention Center at 4:00 p.m.; doors open at 3:00 p.m. General admission ranges between $12-$23.50 and VIP tickets are $55.

    KHQ.COM - A new survey found magic mushrooms are the "safest" illegal drug to take.  The Global Drugs Survey 2017 released earlier this week found that only 0.2 percent of those who took magic mushrooms in the last year needed emergency medical treatment, concluding mushrooms to have statistical lower risk of harm compared to other substances.
