Quotes from Inside the Courtroom

Posted: Updated:

Since no cameras are allowed in court, we cannot show you exactly what was said. But, reporters for ABC FOX MONTANA were keeping close notes and have several direct quotes compiled.

Judge Donald Molloy:

"I just conclude that Jordan Linn Graham is very strange."

"She was a normal person at least on the surface. But how does a normal person kill her husband and then go through the process of lies?"

"The struggle is trying to understand something that is incomprehensible."

Graham has shown a "complete lack of remorse."

She seems to be "impervious of the human consequences of what she did."

"It's incomprehensible to me how you could kill somebody and be impervious to the consequences of what you did."

"(She) didn't even have the human capacity to understand the wrongfulness of what she did."

Jordan Graham:

"A day doesn't go by where I don't ask myself why I did what I did."

"I still love Cody and if he were still alive, I'd still be with him today."

About her love for Cody, "If he were still here today I'd be sure to show him and tell him every single day."

U.S. District Attorney Kris McLean:

"The U.S. takes no joy in these occasions, your honor, recommending a life sentence."

"(Graham is) a person who's not concerned about anyone but herself."

"The government does not buy her story of what happened on the cliff."

"She is most concerned about what will happen to her and it is the government's concern what will happen when she is let out that door."

Sherry Johnson, Cody's Mother:

"My dream was to be a grandmother and watch my grand kids grow up."

"My life feels like it has come to an end."

Tim Manning, Cody's Uncle:

"I believe Jordan should rot in prison and never be released."

"She knew 'Thou shall not kill.'"
