The Lady Griz will spend the weekend preparing for the WNIT second round, when they'll host San Diego on Monday. But the starting lineup will look different than it did in the Big Sky Title game, as both point guard Torry Hill and center Carly Selvig are out with knee injuries.
"We have good players, our margin for error just isn't as big, we're not as deep. We're not as deep inside with losing Carly (Selvig) and of course you lose your most versatile defensive player, but Alycia (Sims) did a great job, and we played Jordan (Sullivan) and Maggie (Rickman) together which hasn't happened this year at all, where Jordy moved to the five, and as you said I thought McCalle (Feller) and Kayleigh (Valley) had as good of games as they've had all year, not only have they made plays and shots, but they didn't look like they were scared or intimidated or anything. It was one of those nights that from time to time everything is kind of going your way, and we got the ball going down, and Washington State is a really good team, but we were just better that night." says Lady Griz head coach Robin Selvig.
