Caregiver Humbled By Donations, Needs To Think About Reopening

Posted: Updated:
KALISPELL -

Physician assistant Susan Cahill is understandably shaken after her office was broken into, but she says the outpouring of online donations is "heartwarming."

The Montana Reproductive Rights Coalition helped start the fundraising, and they've already received more than $58,000.

Director of NARAL Pro Choice Montana Maggie Moran says the first $25,000 will go directly to All Families Healthcare.

Cahill says she's glad to see that people care and that mainstream religious groups in the community are against this violence, but she's not sure if she can keep practicing.

"I feel afraid, and I don't know if anybody would rent to me anyway at this point. So I have to think about this," said Cahill.

You can find a link to the Coalition's campaign here.

Here is the Facebook page of Love Lives Here. They are a local group with the Human Rights Network that is also accepting donations specifically for Cahill.
