Just five days in, an online fundraising campaign has raised more than $58,000 for All Families Healthcare, what used to be the Flathead's only abortion provider.
The Montana Reproductive Rights Coalition helped get the ball rolling.
After talking with physician assistant Susan Cahill, they set a goal of $25,000 to help cover her rent, payroll, and clean up costs after a vandalism two weeks ago tore her office apart.
Since they can't change the goal or duration of the campaign, they still have 25 days left and the money keeps pouring in from across the nation.
"We had no idea that this was going to be such a massive success," said Maggie Moran, the director of NARAL Pro Choice Montana, "We could not have predicted this at all."
Moran says the first $25,000 will go directly to All Families Healthcare.
The rest will go towards other Montana abortion providers and the reproductive justice movement.
