Butte Exchange Club Will Host Field of Honor

Posted: Updated:
BUTTE -

The Butte Exchange Club is happy to announce the "Field of Honor" will be back this summer after they didn't hold the event last year in the Mining City.

The field of honor is a field made up of 1,000 American flags.

Folks can sponsor a flag in honor of any personal hero.

There will also be a section of flags to honor victims of child abuse.

Events coordinators say it's a way to honor those you love.

"We did the first one three years ago, followed it up again the next year. Last year we decided to take a break. It was just so well received by the community; we feel it just was time to do it again," said Tom Daniel with the Butte Exchange Club.

The event will take place in Butte in early July.
