Missing Butte Woman Found Deceased

A missing Butte woman was found dead by police Sunday morning near the National Center of Appropriate Technology (N.C.A.T.).

Butte-Silver Bow County Sheriff Ed Lester, says Aimee Heim was found at the bottom of an outdoor stairwell at N.C.A.T. after police were called to the building because of a burglary alarm.

Authorities say the stairwell is unused by building staff.

The 40-year-old woman was reported missing on Sunday, February 23.

Prior to being reported missing, police found Heim's vehicle at N.C.A.T. on February 10.

The body is being transported to the state crime lab for an autopsy.

Police say they do not suspect foul play to be involved at this time.
