BOZEMAN -

Two men are charged for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab that caused a small explosion at a Bozeman hotel earlier this week.

Jesse James Moore, 31 and Devon Wayne Arnaud, 26, are both charged with unlawful clandestine laboratory, a felony.

On Tuesday evening, a small explosion happened at the Continental Motor Inn in Bozeman.

According to court documents, the Missouri River Drug Task Force determined that the explosion was caused by a failed "one pot" method of methamphetamine being manufactured inside one of the hotel rooms.

During the investigation, Arnaud was arrested and charged with a probation violation.

Both will appear in Gallatin County Justice court on Friday morning.
