Bozeman Explosion Still Under Investigation

Posted: Updated:
BOZEMAN -

Investigators say a man arrested in Bozeman on Wednesday on a probation violation has not yet been linked to a Tuesday night explosion at a Bozeman hotel.

Devon Wayne Arnaud, 26 was charged in Gallatin County Justice court on Wednesday after he was arrested during the investigation.

Sheriffs say a small meth lab exploded at the Continental Motor Inn on East Main in Bozeman.

Missouri River Drug Task Force Commander, Jake Wagner said it is not unusual to see small meth labs in the county.

"We have responded to numerous meth labs over the last few quarters within the task force. We get a lab a two a quarter,"said Wagner.

Wagner said it's not clear how many people may be involved in the meth lab. He said the investigation is on-going and they are continuing to identify suspects in the case.
