59 Sheep Captured And Released

Fifty-nine Bullhorn Sheep are grazing in new pastures today.

Montana FWP says the Wild Horse Island sheep capture is done.

Sixty-one sheep were actually captured, but one ram died and another managed to get away.

Twenty-six rams and six ewes are now in the Kootenai Wildlife Management Area.

The other eleven rams, fifteen ewes, and one male lamb were taken to Berray Mountain, north of Noxon.
