BOZEMAN -

Witnesses continued testifying on Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of duct-taping and kidnapping a Manhattan woman.

Charles Dustin Rickett is charged with four felonies, aggravated kidnapping, burglary, intimidation and escape.

In district court on Wednesday, neighbors, members of the Manhattan Police Department and Gallatin County Sheriff's Department took the stand.

Court documents state in July of 2012, Rickett escaped from a Bozeman pre-release center then held his former foster mother hostage.

Rickett allegedly blindfolded her then restrained her with duct tape and a jump rope.

Documents say the woman told police Rickett then threatened to burn her house down, if she tried to escape.

The trial is expected to wrap up on Thursday.
