We received plenty of phone calls and emails about current road conditions, and of course a lot of pictures throughout the day as the snow fell.

Overnight: Mostly Clear skies & plummeting temperatures mean those sloppy, slushy roads will ice over quickly. Expect a gorgeous sunrise with some foggy spots & a few ragged low clouds.

Wednesday: Clouds start to build back in Wednesday afternoon as moisture begins to move in from the south. Wednesday stays mostly dry and we go from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Some areas south of Spokane could see showers Wednesday night...however Thursday still looks like the best chance of some rain or rain/snow mix. High: 35° (Green)

SPOKANE, Wash. - A good ending to a story only brought about because of you and the power of social media. You may remember the story of the beautiful German Shepherd, Lady Star who went missing after a car crash on June 24th. She was the dog of Asha Bartholomew and her husband, a former WWII vet who passed away a year ago.

ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) - The settlers who founded Ellensburg in the 1870s were likely drawn by the plentiful water in creeks crisscrossing the valley, but as the city expanded, it grew right over those streams. Look at a Google map of downtown Ellensburg and you'll see Wilson Creek wind across Main Street.
