Bozeman Residents Speak Out Against Rezoning Near Morningstar Elem.

Posted: Updated:
BOZEMAN -

City commissioners heard comments from a long line of Bozeman residents Monday night about a proposal to re-zone land for a new student housing complex, called Campus Crest.

The proposed student housing complex would be located south of Opportunity Way and east of 11th Avenue.

Developers need approval from city commissioners to change the zoning from single family housing to high-density residential housing.

But, nearby residents and many people who spoke Monday night have raised concerns saying it will create more traffic in their neighborhood and an unsafe environment for kids who walk to school.

We will bring you the latest on the city commissioners' decision here on abcfoxmontana.com as soon as it is made.
