Frontier Offers Missoula to Denver Flights

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

Frontier Airlines announces it will offer nonstop flights between Denver and Missoula starting June 13.

Airport director Cris Jensen, members of the Missoula Economic Partnership and city leaders worked to bring Frontier to MSO for several years.

Airport officials said the new service could help stop the leakage of passengers to other airports.

They said Frontier increases competition, which they hope will drive down ticket prices.

James Grunke, of the Missoula Economic Partnership, said, "This is going to translate into millions of dollars in savings for the residents of this area, and it's hard not to be excited about that."

The Denver-based airline will offer service from Missoula to Denver on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

It will offer service from Denver to Missoula on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

To celebrate the new service, Frontier is offering $65 fares each way through this Wednesday.
