Police Search for Missing Man

BUTTE -

Butte-Silver Bow County Police ask the public for any help finding a Butte man who was reported missing Wednesday night around 11.

Undersheriff George Skuletich says 54-year-old James Ryan was last seen by his wife Wednesday at 7 in the morning.

Ryan is an avid long distance runner, and police believe the man was going on a run near Delmoe Lake before going to work in Helena Wednesday.

Police recovered Ryan's vehicle at Delmoe Lake, but with no sign of the man.

Both Jefferson County search and rescue along with Butte-Silver Bow authorities are searching for the man in the area, with the help of cadaver dogs as well.

Anyone with information should call 497-1120.
