After almost two years of planning, Kalispell's city council is ready to hear what people have to say about the wastewater impact fee.
The Impact Fee Advisory Committee decided in a three to two vote to go ahead and recommend more than doubling the fee to more than $5,700 per home.
You can come give your two cents on March 17 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall.
City council member Chad Graham says a final decision could come that same night.
"This is an extremely important issue to Kalispell. I would recommend that anybody interested in this issue should show up," said Graham.
With the cost of a building permit and all the impact fees, Graham says this latest increase would mean a minimum price tag of $10,000 for builders before even breaking ground.
