These are what Belgrade's uniforms usually look like. But last night they looked like this. Senior Madison Page had the idea of going back in time. Then they asked their Coach.
"All of us kind of decided. Like we wanted to before we asked her. So finalizing it we went to her and she gave us her smirk like you guys are crazy but she definitely goes along with it," said senior Madison Page.
The Panther girls have done this in the past, and the timing was right.
"Two years ago our seniors wore them as well and it just kind of something we wanted to do last year our senior didn't want to wear them because their last game on this court was senior night so but since we still have divisionals here we just wanted to throw it back, have a little fun with it," said Page.
"It's fun on senior night because it gets the crowd laughing and it's fun to take some of the parents and go back to their day and just go back for the fun of it," said Tanna Holliday.
"We gotta have a little bit of fun while we're doing this the kids put so much into the season and getting to the state tournament and Madison arranged all of it and Mr. Phillips approved it and we thought we'd go with is and I think the kids had a great time," said head coach Shanna Smith.
The one noticeable difference is the shorts. They're a lot shorter than what the girls are used to. Senior Tanna Holliday says lets keep it a one time experience.
"I would not want to wear them. They're high waisted and they're tighter around your legs and I like our regular uniforms a lot better," said Holliday.
"I prefer them a little shorter because I'm always yanking them up anyway cause they get in the way but it is a little weird they higher waist kind of throws me off," said Page.
Coach Smith says they're going back to the newer look come tournament time. In Belgrade Jeff Eberle ABC FOX Montana Sports.
