Man Arrested For Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

BOZEMAN -

A Bozeman man is behind bars after breaking into his ex-girlfriend's house and assaulting her.

Scott Allan Ward, 22 is charged with felony aggravated burglary and partner family member assault.

According to court documents, the victim repeatedly told Ward she did not want to see him, but Ward entered her house and started "freaking out and screaming.

The victim tried to get away. That's when Ward began slamming things in the kitchen and eventually head butting her, giving her a bloody nose.

Judge Rick West said because Ward has only lived in Bozeman for one month, he is a threat to the community and a flight risk.

His bond was set at $10,000.
