Developers Suing County Over Denied Subdivision

BOZEMAN -

The developers of a proposed Gallatin Gateway subdivision are suing Gallatin County after commissioners denied the proposal for Gateway Village last month.

Developers are asking a judge to reverse that decision for a 191 lot subdivision on 54 acres along U.S. 191 in Gallatin Gateway.

The suit claims commissioners didn't have enough evidence to support their decision.

The complaint says the developer wanted to subdivide the same property in 2006, but that was denied because there wasn't a community plan.

Developers resubmitted the plan last year after a community plan was established.

The county hasn't been served with the lawsuit yet.
