Police Search for Casino Robbery Suspect

Butte-Silver Bow County Police are searching for a man who robbed the Magic Diamond Casino by knife-point Friday morning in Butte.

According to Sheriff Ed Lester, the suspect entered the casino on Dewey Avenue at 4:40 Friday morning and demanded cash from the casino clerk.

Police say the man threatened the employee with a knife.

The suspect escaped with a small amount of money.

He is described as being six feet tall, wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with light colored sweat pants, and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information should call the police at 497-1120.
