Montana Naturopathic Clinic Offers Kids' Vaccines

MISSOULA -

Montana Whole Health in Missoula becomes the first natural healthcare center in the state to join the national Vaccines for Children program.

Dr. Erika Krumbeck said she joined the federally funded program to offer vaccines at little or no cost to her patients.

Krumbeck said she treats illness with natural remedies like herbal medicines and nutrition, rather than conventional prescription medications.

Krumbeck said she's aware her decision as a naturopath to offer vaccines may offend some families who are against vaccines.

"All I want to do is give parents the option, so parents wanted to have another option for how to vaccinate their child, and that's why I started carrying vaccines," she said.

Montana Whole Health stocks individual vaccines and vaccines with the lowest preservative and aluminum content whenever possible.
