Vintage Clothes on Display at Clark Chateau

BUTTE -

Want to rock a vintage vibe, but don't know a corset from a cravat?

Check out the historic Clark Chateau starting Saturday.

You can see some old clothes from the Mining City dating all the way back to 1890.

On display will be women's gowns, shoes, baby clothing, and even men's wear.

All four floors will be open for the first time since last year at the Clark Chateau.

The display is a collection from the Archives, the World Museum of Mining, and other private collections.

"A lot of the society women here sent back to New York, to London, to Paris, for their gowns, for their fineries," said Kim Kohn with the Butte Archives. "So that is really reflected in what we have here."

The exhibit will be on display at the Clark Chateau starting Saturday and going through April.

Admission into the exhibit will cost $7 per person or $15 per family.
