Missoula Residents Share Super Bowl Trip Experience

Two Missoula residents said they had the experience of a lifetime after winning tickets to the Super Bowl in a national contest.

Roy Gruss said he entered a Bose/Sports Illustrated contest after seeing the advertisement online, hoping just to win a Bose home theater system.

Days later, he got a phone call saying he'd won the grand prize, and was going to the Super Bowl.

Gruss said he and his wife, Cathy, toured The Big Apple and had great seats inside the stadium for the game.

Gruss said, "I didn't want to go out to get anything, I just stayed for every second I could and let it wash over me, because it was outstanding, production value was just huge."

Gruss works as the Missoula County Public Schools Food Service Manager.

He said he and his wife had never been to an NFL game, nor to NYC, and were incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
