Burning Off Super Bowl Calories

BOZEMAN -

Super Bowl Sunday is the second biggest day for food consumption in the United States after Thanksgiving.

A study done by dietdetective.com said it will take you quite a lot of time to burn off those extra calories.

For example, a person would have to run 49 football fields to burn off just two handfuls of potato chips.

Trainers said if you did consume more calories this Super Bowl, you should make your work-out more intense to burn those calories off quicker.

"A vigorous moderate intensity can actually keep you burning calories even after you're done working out verses a lower intensity exercise," said trainer Ed Davila.

The study also said a person would have to play eight minutes of professional football to burn off four swigs of light beer.
