Robotics Competition This Weekend At MSU

Students from across Montana, Washington and Wyoming are at Montana State University this weekend for the First Robotics Competition.

Today students in grades 7-12 competed in the First Tech Challenge.

Thirty-two teams of four-to-eight people develop strategy and build robots based on sound engineering principles.

Students in fourth to eighth grade will compete in the First LEGO League Saturday.

These students are introduced to real engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots.

The competition starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 5 p.m. in Shroyer Gym on MSU's campus.

It is free and open to the public.
