Butte Exchange Club Celebrating 90 Years

BUTTE -

The Butte Archives is teaming up with the Butte Exchange Club to celebrate the club's 90th anniversary.

To celebrate, the archives will host a display of some of the work the Exchange Club has accomplished during the last 90 years.

The exhibit will feature how the club was instrumental in installing the first city road signs in Butte, photographs of fundraising events, and other documents of interest.

Wednesday organizers will unveil the exhibit during a 90-year anniversary party.

"We do community projects, flower beds, clean-ups, painting, that sort of thing," said Jim Stillwell with the Butte Exchange Club. "So the community benefits, I think, tremendously from our projects."

Wednesday's unveiling will begin at 5 p.m. at the Butte Archives.
