Bozeman North 7th Interchange Bridge Project Complete

BOZEMAN -

A major construction project in Bozeman is now complete, months ahead of schedule.

The North 7th bridge project was expected to be done by September, but crews finished seven months early.

The area now has four driving lanes and two left-hand turn lanes onto the I-90 westbound ramp.

Project manager said the favorable weather and long work days allowed his crew to complete the project early.

"I'm feeling really proud," said Allan Frankl, project manager. "People that worked on the job site did an excellent job. They really took it seriously and they are very proud of what they did. It's been a great project from the MDT personnel through our sub contractors to our own people on the ground."

Frankl said the bridge will remain open until sometime this spring when crews do finishing work such as building sidewalks and painting.
