The Montana Food Bank Network received a $20,000 donation for a new fork lift.
Food Bank Network employees said the new fork lift will help them run the warehouse more efficiently and improve workplace safety.
They said Northwest Farm Credit Services and CoBank donated the funds for the brand new equipment.
Before they got the new equipment, workers had only one forklift that doesn't work well for loading and unloading food onto trucks.
Gayle Gifford, CEO of the Montana Food Bank Network, said, "We're just really excited because you know as a food bank and a nonprofit, most of the time when we get equipment it's hand-me-downs, or used-- this is a brand new piece of equipment."
MFBN is a state-wide hunger agency that distributes food to 200 organizations.
