What goes up must come down in downtown Bozeman.
City officials say Main Street in downtown Bozeman will be closed between 8 a.m. and noon Wednesday to remove the garland decorations, also known as the "Christmas Spiders", along with the rest of the holiday decorations.
It will take about 20 people, three bucket fire trucks and a crane to take all the decorations down.
And officials say the decorations might look a little different when they're put up next year.
We're going to try and do new stars over the off season, otherwise they will just be stored and we will get them out next fall, clean them up and do it again!" said Capt. Travis Barton, Bozeman Fire Department.
The Christmas spiders hang down Main Street at the intersections of Bozeman, Black, Tracy and Wilson every year.
Crews say it takes about 1000 bulbs per garland to light the decorations.
