Butte Robbery Suspects Possibly Located in Missoula

Butte-Silver Bow County police ask Missoula authorities for help in the search for two suspects who allegedly robbed a Butte store owner at gun point earlier this week.

Undersheriff George Skuletich says the department received a call Tuesday afternoon from a Missoula resident claiming to locate Dale Wallace and Sarah Jo Johnson, the suspects accused of robbing the Coins and Cards store in Butte.

The Missoula native told police they saw the two suspects in a 2014 white Jeep, similar to the stolen vehicle the suspects are believed to have fled in.

"We're thinking they might be in that part of the state still, or they may have moved on," said Skuletich. "Again, we would like to tell people don't approach them. Call your local authorities. Call 911 and let them handle it. I'm sure it will go better that way for everybody."

While robbing the store at gun point, police say the two put a restraining device on the owner.

The suspects are still considered to be armed and dangerous.
