The number of pedestrians hit and killed by vehicles across Montana rose more than 200 percent this year.
Montana Highway Patrol's weekly report says 23 pedestrians died across Montana, so far in 2013.
That number is nearly 228.57 percent higher than last year's figure of seven fatalities.
MHP said only one person died in MHP's Bozeman district, which occurred back in September.
The report states 224 people died in crashes in Montana, so far this year.
Last year 204 people died on Montana's highways.
