Man Pleads Not Guilty to Shooting Undercover Detective

The man accused of shooting an undercover detective during a botched drug bust pleads not guilty in Missoula District Court.

Joshua Robinson, 25, pleaded not guilty to attempted deliberate homicide and robbery.

Court documents show back in November, an undercover detective went to the Rosauer's parking lot to do a controlled buy of meth.

Police said Robinson got into the detective's car, and instead of pulling out the meth, he pulled out a pistol and demanded the detective give him money.

Investigators said Robinson fired two shots at the detective.

Two other women involved in the incident also pleaded not guilty in court on Tuesday.
