Salvation Army Close To Fundraising Goal

BOZEMAN -

The Salvation Army is close to reaching its fundraising goal through the Red Kettle Campaign.

The Salvation Army said not including the coins dropped in 10 kettles around Bozeman and Belgrade, they made anywhere between $36,000 and $37,000 between Black Friday and Christmas Eve.

Their goal was $38,000.

Last year, the Salvation Army fell short in their fundraising efforts, so officials said they're pleased with this year's effort, especially since they stopped ringing when temperatures dropped below zero a few weeks ago.

"We are just really grateful to the donors in the community and we just want to say thank you because without them, we couldn't have made our budget," said Lt. Niki Woollin, Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army is still taking donations.

You can mail your donations to the Salvation Army 32 S Rouse Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715. Or you can drop off your donation there.
