Salvation Army Needs To Raise $13,000 By Christmas Eve

BOZEMAN -

The Salvation Army has six days to raise $13,000 through their red kettle drive.

This year's goal is to raise $36,000, four-thousand dollars less than last year. Bell ringers had five less days to ring due to the later start to the holiday season.

Then, the cold snap kept the bell ringers indoors for another five days.

"The community in Bozeman is fantastic," said Lieutenant Jonathan Woollin, Salvation Army. "They are really stepping up and help us meet that goal. I am optimistic that we will meet that goal and not have to reduce any services next year."

Woollin said if they don't reach their goal, they may have to cut some of their services next year.
