Big Brothers Big Sisters Gift Wrap Station

Posted: Updated:

A holiday tradition is back at the Gallatin Valley Mall.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County has set up its gift wrapping booth every year for 33 years in the mall.

It is one of their larger fundraiser's to help match little brothers and sisters with their big's.

The cost to get your gift wrapped depends on the size of the gift.

Organizers say most gift wrapping costs between $3 and $10, and that includes a box, wrapping paper, bow and gift tag.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is still looking for volunteers to work the booth, and it doesn't matter how well you can wrap a present.

"I'm personally really horrible at gift wrapping, but I'm really good as a cashier," said Ashley Schooles, gift wrap booth volunteer. "But some girls are better at the bow making than others, so whoever has skills in other areas is where we put them."

The booth is open daily until Christmas Eve. It is open Mondays through Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturdays 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Christmas Eve 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you would like to volunteer to work the both, call BBBS at 406-587-1216.
