Employees at Missoula Aging Services are looking for more volunteers for the Foster Grandparent program.
Foster grandparents give one-on-one care and attention to at-risk kids of all ages in Missoula County.
Ann Thompson said for her, the program was therapeutic, after she lost a number of family members all at once.
Thompson said the program gives seniors the chance to connect with kids and enjoy their company.
Thompson said, "And it just gives you a whole new life, the kids just love you and they, it just takes all of the sadness out of the world to be with them."
The program currently 40 participants who each volunteer about 20 hours per week.
