BOZEMAN -

The avalanche danger in the Gallatin National Forest is upgraded to "considerable."

This means human-caused avalanches are likely while natural slides are possible.

The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center said small natural avalanches happened at the Truman Gulch in the Bridger Range and Avalanche Gulch up Hyalite Canyon.

One was triggered in Hyalite by an ice climber.

The avalanche center says people should be cautious when traveling in these areas.

The avalanche conditions are updated daily here.
