Plains Woman Killed in Monday Collision near Charlo

The Lake County Coroner's Office released the name of the woman, who was killed in a fatal crash on Highway 212 near Charlo on Monday.

Undersheriff Dan Yonkin said Patricia McDougall, 60, of Plains was pronounced dead on scene and died as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash.

The Montana Highway Patrol said a car slid into the path of an oncoming pickup truck at about 11 a.m.due to icy road conditions.

They added that the two people in the pickup truck were treated at an area hospital and released.
