ANACONDA -

An Anaconda man will spend more than 17 years in a federal prison for producing child pornography.

64-year-old Michael Dwaine Freeman was sentenced in federal court in Missoula on Monday after previously pleading guilty to child pornography charges.

According to court documents, in August of 2012 Freeman was arrested after Anaconda Law Enforcement recovered sexually explicit photographs of young children on Freeman's cell phone.

There is no parole for federal inmates, but Freeman can have his sentenced reduced for "good behavior".
