More Ski Areas Opening This Week

BOZEMAN -

Three more Montana ski hills are opening this week.

Lost Trail opened Thursday with Snowbowl and Bridger Bowl opening Friday.

Bridger Bowl added two new lifts this year, the Powder Park and Alpine lifts.

They replace the 1967 Riblet Alpine lift.

The new triple chair lifts will help increase the capacity of skiers in that area.

They will be able to serve 3,300 people an hour, compared to 1,100 the old lift was able to serve.
