LOOK: Davenport Hotel Lights Up With The Christmas Tree Elegance Raffle

SPOKANE, Wash. - Christmas Tree Elegance is a raffle of 18 themed custom-decorated trees with prizes that include gift certificates, items and cash. Each prize package includes the decorated tree and its gifts and is valued at approximately $5,000. Raffle tickets are $1 each.

  • Davenport Hotel – Daily from 10 am to 9 pm
  • River Park Square – Daily from 10 am to Mall closing

All of the proceeds raised benefit the Spokane Symphony.

The incident occurred on Dishman Mica Road southeast of the city of Spokane.

(AP) - The city of Spokane plans to appeal a $60,000 fine for alleged training and safety failures that led to two employees being burned at its Waste-to-Energy Plant last fall.      Last month, the Washington Department of Labor & Industries cited Spokane for 10 violations of state law that were discovered after Larry Pratt and Craig Law received severe steam burns in an incident on Oct. 4.
