Griz DT Alex Bienemann Talks about his Mother's Thanksgiving Meal
After an always tough game against the Montana State Bobcats last weekend, the Grizzlies of Montana found themselves with a bye into the FCS playoffs, meaning many players would be allowed to go home and spend Thanksgiving with their families. Thee never short on words defensive tackle, Alex Bienemann, explained his enthusiasm in only a way he can.
"I can't really think of anything I'm more excited for. Maybe if we go to the Natty (National Championship), that would obviously rival it in some ways, but by-in-large it's just every year I'm looking forward to Thursday with my mom. To me, it's the cranberries. She does a really good job, I know some parents, and some families do it out of the can, that's bush league, so my mom goes and buys the ocean spray bags of cranberry, the sugar, boils them and does the whole deal, and then the stuffing, is obviously a nice experience, so I'm looking forward to it," says Bienemann.
