KHQ.COM - Lookout Pass will be opening for the 2013-14 season on Thursday the 21st. From Spokane or Missoula, get on I-90 and head for the Idaho/Montana border. It takes approximately 90 minutes to get to Lookout Pass coming from either direction. Hit the off ramp at Exit 0. Our parking lot is 200 yards ahead. In a few minutes you'll be on the snow!

Sheriff Frank Rogers said Friday that the Carlton Complex fire has consumed about 300 homes this month. His office previously placed the number at 150, but he said then he knew it would rise.
